This is our first charity project, with which we started our activities as a charity foundation. We have been working on it for more than a year and to this day. Reconstructing the school is a long, difficult, but extremely important process.
The territory of the village was occupied in few days after the full-scale invasion. The locals were under occupation for over a month and were constantly attacked. The lyceum provided shelter to people. The building protected them from shelling. Unfortunately, the school building suffered severe destruction and damage: windows and doors were broken, the roof, walls, and classrooms were destroyed, and school property was also looted and mutilated by the russians.
Thanks to your donations and the support of our partners, we were able to purchase and deliver to the school furniture for equipping classrooms, teachers' and utility rooms. Monitors, processors, and laptops were also handed over to equip multimedia and computer classes. Children will be able to receive a full-fledged and high-quality education using versatile methods and independently deepen or re-pass the studied materials.
And we also installed 55 windows. The 17 large windows we installed in large and small sports halls. Finally, sports halls now can fully function. And 38 windows were installed in classrooms, teachers' rooms, corridors, and other school premises will return to work.
Despite all the work done, there is still enough work for the full functioning of the school. We need to restore the wall and roof, rebuild the damaged classrooms and make cosmetic repairs in them, buy new furniture for the lyceum to replace the damaged ones, and equip it with electronic and computer technics.
The new school year will start soon in the conditions of war. We must do everything necessary from our side so that children have the opportunity to fully study. We invite you to join the support of the lyceum in the Mykhailo-Kotsyubynska community. Go to the DONATE page and choose a convenient way to donate for education.
